The Dickinsons have been outdoorsmen for their whole lives. Marty grew up in rural Alberta and has always been a hunter and outdoors enthusiast. He has been hunting and fishing in this area for his whole life, and enjoys spending his days out in the wilderness. Cindy grew up on a farm outside of Cherhill, Alberta and has spent her childhood and early adult life hunting, farming and enjoying the outdoors.
Marty has been guiding for big game for 14 years, and now with their new home nestled in the heart of the hunting zones, this brings the added benefit of hunting where you live. Our zones are some of the best hunting areas in Alberta, bordering on the boreal forest and farmland.
Together for 35 years Marty and Cindy have enjoyed the outdoors together and are now looking forward to continuing their adventures with Buckstop Guiding and Outfitting!

We are located approximately 2 hours northwest of Edmonton International Airport near the small town Fort Assiniboine, Alberta Canada. The camp accomodations are 12.5 km north of Fort Assiniboine in the middle of WMU zones 507, 349 and 350.
